There are so many CD Roms on the market that it is difficult to know what to buy, and in many ways buying educational software can become a lottery.
Whilst the packaging is always impressive, the contents can vary enormously.
CDs of great depth and quality with sound educational value are indistinguishable from similarly packaged and priced software with very little content at all.
Magazines, of course, do give reviews but they may not be based on very thorough research. Schools may be able to offer advice, but bear in mind that what is good in a school environment may not be suitable for use at home.
(Please note that these links will take you to pages on other websites, and Technokids are not responsible for their content)
However, probably the best way for children to try out lots of different software is to come to Technokids! Please feel free to contact the Technokids office if you would like some recommendations for your child
